Fuel briquettes represent hexahedral cylinders with width of a side 35 mm made of the pressed waste of wood, peelings, straw, etc. High pressing degree is reached at the expense of simultaneous influence on initial raw materials of a heat and pressure in installation.

The fuel briquettes received on installation UBO-2, possess a number of conclusive advantages in comparison with other kinds of fuel:
· Possibility of use of fuel briquettes in coppers of any capacity - from heating of private houses to large thermal power station.
· The low cost price of manufacture.
· Calorific value of briquettes makes 4,5–5,0 kw/kg that is in 1,5 times more than at wood, and is comparable with coal. It means that one 1 kg briquette is enough for heating of the house by the area of 50 sq. m within one hour (according to all-union scientific research institute TP).

Thus, at existing procurement prices the benefit of use of fuel briquettes is obvious.
· Briquettes are a non-polluting product: without chemical additives and sticking together substances, made from natural, raw by any chemical preparations of a waste (this characteristic is important for the enterprises working in city line).
· At burning briquettes do not render negative influence on environment. The energy received at combustion of a briquette, does not promote climate change by means of emission in atmosphere of carbonic gas and others "hotbed gases". Emissions of dioxide sulfurs and oxide nitrogen are the basic components in the course of oxidation of air, waters and a ground. But as in briquettes the sulphur small amount in the course of biomass combustion similar polluting substances practically are not formed contains and is not allocated. Even those small volumes of emissions which take place, are a natural link of a natural cycle.
· Briquettes well inflame, differ long burning (briquettes from sawdust burn twice longer, than wood).

Briquettes are easier for submitting to the top internal chamber in comparison with not bracketed waste.
· Popularity of briquettes as "house" fuel is caused by that such heat is perceived as more pleasant, than warmly, received of coal, easy black oil or natural gas.
· At burning of briquettes spark formation does not occur.
· Burning of briquettes in a copper fire chamber occurs more effectively – the quantity of the rests (ashes) does not exceed 0,5–1 % from total amount of used fuel (ash level some grades of coal reaches 30-40 %), and ashes can be used as potash fertilizer.
· Briquettes do not contain the latent time inclined to spontaneous ignition at rise in temperature.
· Briquettes are condensed at 4-12 time therefore efficiency of transport transportations raises and the warehousing area decreases.
Due to the set above qualities, wood briquettes possess high competitiveness in comparison with other kinds of fuel and the market of fuel briquettes grows fast rates.
